On January 4, 2023, 25-year-old Rachel Ruiz-Izquierdo was fatally shot outside her workplace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident occurred around 7:55 a.m. in the 500 block of East Pamalyn Avenue, near South Bermuda and East Pilot roads. Responding officers found both Ruiz-Izquierdo and her ex-boyfriend, 43-year-old Ubelquier Capote-Dominguez, deceased at the scene from gunshot wounds to the head.
