In a tragic turn of events on April 1, 2023, Magdalena Mercado, a 43-year-old Hispanic female, was found deceased in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Her body was discovered on a Saturday afternoon in a desert lot on her property located on the 600 block of East Hammer Lane. The Clark County Coroner's office later confirmed her identity and determined that the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, ruling her death a homicide.
