In the predawn hours of May 28, 2023, a family gathering in North Las Vegas took a tragic turn, ending in the death of 32-year-old Demarkie Montez. The male victim was at a barbecue with family members on Honey Vista Lane when an argument erupted between him and his older brother, Marcus Montez.
