On the night of November 27, 2023, a Hispanic male named Manuel Velasquez, age 71, died in his Las Vegas home. The evening took a tragic turn following a domestic dispute with his son.

At approximately 11:18 p.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received a distressing 9-1-1 call. The dispatcher could overhear a heated argument and what sounded like a gunshot.
