On a Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas, on November 4, 2018, a walk in the Historic Westside neighborhood turned tragic for 20-year-old Jeremy Seals, an African-American male. He was strolling with his girlfriend along West Lake Mead Boulevard near J Street at approximately 12:30 p.m. when the unthinkable occurred. A man approached them from behind and opened fire, striking Seals multiple times in a sudden and violent attack.
