In the winter chill of January 20, 2024, the life of 39-year-old Justin Murphy, a White/Caucasian male from Sun Valley, Nevada, was abruptly ended. The incident unfolded at a gas station located near the intersection of South Virginia Street and Gentry Way in Reno. It was here that Murphy was fatally shot, his death later being officially ruled as a homicide by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office.
