On May 18, 2024, Nicholas Bott, a 44-year-old former substitute teacher from Las Vegas, Nevada, died by suicide. The Clark County coroner's office confirmed that Bott died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His death occurred just two days after his arrest on May 16, 2024, and one day after posting bail on May 17.
