In a moment of escalating violence on the evening of June 5, 2024, a young life was tragically cut short in Las Vegas, Nevada. Keith Johnson, a 15-year-old Black/African American male, was fatally wounded in a shooting that erupted in the 3900 block of North Nellis Boulevard. The incident, which occurred shortly before 8:45 p.m., is believed by authorities to have stemmed from a drug transaction that took a deadly turn.
