On June 24, 2024, 51-year-old Maria Strazzera-Zeta was fatally shot during an argument with her boyfriend, 43-year-old Paul Herrera, in their Laughlin, Nevada, apartment. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Cal Edison Drive. Neighbors reported hearing a single gunshot following a heated dispute between the couple.
