Patrick Lance Wooten, a 30-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2017, in Chickamauga, Georgia. The incident occurred at a residence on Hood Avenue, where officers found Lance Wooten with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was called in to handle the investigation, and an autopsy was scheduled to be performed at the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur.
