On the evening of March 30, 2025, 29-year-old Kehona Latrice 'Keys' Ahrenstorff, an African American woman, was fatally shot in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Responding to reports of gunfire around 8:43 p.m., officers from the North Las Vegas Police Department arrived at an apartment complex on the 4200 block of Commerce Street. There, they discovered Kehona suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by medical personnel, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Clark County Coroner's Office later confirmed her identity and listed her cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds.
Kehona was known for her vibrant personality, often described as the life of the party with a radiant smile and a magnetic spirit.
