A couple is found dead in their home
On December 4, 1994, Nona Rauer and her husband, Charles, were tragically found murdered in their Incline Village home, located on Oriole Way. The couple, who had retired and moved from Florida to the peaceful community in Lake Tahoe, were discovered to have died from blunt force trauma. Investigators believe they were killed sometime between December 2 and December 3, with their bodies found two days later. There were no signs of forced entry, and the case has remained unsolved for years.
