Devon A. Johnson, a 23-year-old man from Minneapolis, tragically lost his life on March 14, 2024, in St. Paul's Dayton's Bluff neighborhood. The incident, which marked St. Paul's fourth homicide of the year, occurred around 11 p.m. near the 1300 block of Wilson Avenue.
The circumstances surrounding Johnson's death are still under investigation. Reports indicate that gunshots were heard in the area, and vehicles were seen leaving the scene of a damaged car.
Police officers responding to the call discovered an unoccupied and damaged vehicle in the middle of the street, suggesting a possible car crash.
