On the evening of July 31, 2024, at approximately 7 p.m., multiple 911 calls reported gunfire near the intersection of Charles Avenue and Galtier Street in St. Paul's Frogtown neighborhood. Responding officers discovered 33-year-old Tirece Reed of Inver Grove Heights seated in a parked vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso. Emergency responders transported Reed to Regions Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
