On the afternoon of August 19, 2024, a life was tragically cut short in Minneapolis amidst a scene of chaos. JaBraun Garron Hole, a 33-year-old Black/African American male, was fatally wounded following a large altercation that erupted at a homeless encampment. The dispute, which began shortly after 5 p.m. in the 3300 block of South 3rd Avenue, escalated and spilled out onto the street.
