On the evening of March 4, 2023, at approximately 11:29 p.m., the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding an individual lying in the street near the 4200 block of South Clifton in Wichita, Kansas. Upon arrival at 11:31 p.m., deputies found bystanders administering aid to Evan Harrison, a 24-year-old Wichita resident, who had sustained a gunshot wound. Harrison was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
