In the early hours of August 5, 2025, the life of 22-year-old Kashmire Tisdale was tragically cut short in Wichita, Kansas. A Black / African American male, Tisdale was found behind a residence in the 600 block of North Poplar with a gunshot wound to his upper body. The events leading to his death began to unfold around 1:26 a.m. when Wichita police officers patrolling the area heard the distinct sound of multiple gunshots.
