In the early morning hours of August 20, 2023, the life of 36-year-old Justin E. Krogen, a White/Caucasian male from Pittsburg, Kansas, was tragically cut short. At approximately 1:15 AM, law enforcement and first responders were dispatched to 202 N. Locust St. in Pittsburg, following reports of a shooting. They arrived to find Krogen outside of a local establishment, Jimmy B's bar, with a fatal gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of emergency personnel, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
