On February 15, 2024, 42-year-old Candace Amack was found fatally shot outside her home in the 1400 block of South George Washington Boulevard in Wichita, Kansas. Responding to reports of gunfire around 4 p.m., police discovered Amack with multiple gunshot wounds; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
