Reginald D. Privette Jr., born on May 25, 1984, in Washington, D.C., was the son of Reginald D. Privette Sr. and the late Vanessa Graves. He was employed as a machine operator at Reser's Fine Foods in Topeka, Kansas. Privette was a member of Faith Harvest Church of God in Christ.
