In the early morning hours of August 24, 2024, the life of David Dee Dawkins, a 47-year-old Caucasian male from Kansas City, Kansas, was tragically cut short. Just before 1:30 a.m., law enforcement responded to reports of a shooting near the 800 and 900 blocks of Washington Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered a chaotic scene with two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
