On the evening of Wednesday, February 15, 2023, the life of 31-year-old Troy 'Butta' Smith came to a tragic end in New Orleans. Responding to a call, New Orleans Police Department officers made their way to the 5900 block of Beechcraft Street in the Pines Village neighborhood. There, in a driveway, they found Smith suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
