On February 28, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Denham Springs, Louisiana, involving the deaths of Anthony Larven Self Jr., 26, and Deshun Ennis, 45. The incident took place at The Crossing Apartments located on Buddy Ellis Road, off Juban Road near I-12.
