On the evening of April 6, 2023, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Eunice Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 900 block of West Walnut Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 32-year-old Jeddimyer K. Vallare with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
