On the night of January 7, 2022, 17-year-old African American male Tyvon Lawrence Favors was fatally shot in Eunice, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Kim's Mart, located at 611 East Laurel Avenue. Surveillance footage revealed that a black Nissan was present in the parking lot prior to the shooting.
