On the evening of May 9, 2023, tragedy struck in Shreveport, Louisiana, when 46-year-old Toney Jones was shot and killed. The male victim was discovered inside a vehicle parked in the driveway of his own home on Burlingame Boulevard, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.

Authorities were called to the scene, and despite the efforts of first responders, Mr. Jones could not be saved. His death was later confirmed by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office and was recorded as the 28th homicide in ...
