Darrell Ray Houston, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 4, 2020, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Houston was shot at the intersection of Ford and North Holtzman streets in the Allendale neighborhood around 12:55 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:05 a.m. The Shreveport Police Department positively identified him through fingerprint comparison and continues to investigate the shooting.
