In the late hours of a Monday night in Abbeville, Louisiana, the life of 22-year-old Roderick Keith Guidry, Jr. came to a violent end. On September 25, 2023, the Abbeville Police Department received multiple calls reporting gunshots fired at the Live Oak Manor Apartment Complex at approximately 11:10 PM. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim trail of blood that led them away from the apartments and into a nearby pasture. There, they found Guidry's body. He had been shot and ...
