Kenneth Johnson, an 18-year-old student at L.B. Landry High School in New Orleans, was fatally shot on October 4, 2023, in the Lower Garden District. The incident occurred around 8:54 p.m. at the intersection of St. Thomas and St. Andrew Streets. Responding officers found evidence of a shooting but no victims at the scene. Subsequently, two individuals with gunshot wounds arrived at a local hospital, where Johnson succumbed to his injuries.
