In the early evening of October 4, 2023, tragedy struck in New Orleans when 18-year-old Kenneth Johnson, a male student at L.B. Landry High School, was involved in a double shooting. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Josephine Street. First responders initially received a call about a shooting at the intersection of Saint Thomas and Saint Andrew streets, but upon arrival, they found no victims at the scene.
