In the New Orleans neighborhood of the Seventh Ward, the life of 33-year-old Dennis 'Flo' Junior Floyd, a local rapper, was cut short on the evening of Wednesday, April 22, 2015. That night, officers from the New Orleans Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 2200 block of North Miro Street to investigate reports of a shooting.
