Ernest Francois, aged 33, was shot and killed on February 15, 2017, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the Gentilly area of the city. According to reports, officers from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to a shooting alert in the 3400 block of Franklin Avenue around 5:54 p.m. Upon their arrival, they found Francois with a gunshot wound.
