32 year old shot in head
Floyd Batiste, a 32-year-old male, passed away in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He was a graduate of G.W. Carver Sr. High School and had also attended Grambling State University.

On the day of his death, Batiste was the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident was later described by a New Orleans Police Department officer as a 'drug-rip' that ended with a bullet to the head.
