Devin Devon McZeal, a 20-year-old resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, died on October 7, 2023, as a result of a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred during a block party in the 500 block of Hellen Street. Around 10:40 PM, a car drove by the party, and individuals inside the vehicle began firing shots into the gathering.
