On the quiet morning of Christmas Eve, the festive spirit in Plaquemine, Louisiana, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of Marcus Williams. In the early hours of December 24, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Williams and three other individuals were seated in a vehicle at a red light on LA-1 when another car pulled alongside them and unleashed a barrage of gunfire.
