On December 24, 2023, Marcus Williams, along with Justin Young, was fatally shot in a violent incident in Plaquemine, Louisiana. The shooting occurred when the vehicle Williams and Young were in stopped at a red light on LA-1. Another vehicle approached and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of Williams and Young. The other two passengers in the vehicle were unharmed.
