In a quiet, wooded area of Jefferson Parish, just outside of New Orleans, a grim discovery was made on April 3, 2024. Mindy Ann Robert, a 44-year-old woman, was found shot to death alongside two other individuals in what authorities described as a makeshift homeless encampment. The tragic event unfolded near the intersection of Scott Street and Shrewsbury Road, where the bodies were located in and around tents hidden from plain view.
