In the early morning hours of April 8, 2024, a barrage of gunfire shattered the peace at a residence on Highway 757 in Eunice, Louisiana. When authorities arrived around 5 a.m., they discovered a tragic scene inside. Roy 'Tray' Guillory Jr., a 19-year-old Black male, was found deceased, the victim of fatal gunshot wounds. The violence of the act was evident, as investigators noted that over 40 shots had been fired at the home. Alongside Guillory, a dog was also found shot and killed.
