An evening stroll turned tragic for 18-year-old Kendrick Jarmon on May 4, 2024, in a Baton Rouge neighborhood. At approximately 6:12 p.m., the young man was walking down the 3200 block of Bartlett Street when he was approached by an unidentified man who, without warning, began to fire a weapon at him. Jarmon attempted to flee the sudden violence, running towards a nearby backyard as multiple gunshots struck him.
