Khristopher Buddy Lewis, a 32-year-old man from New Orleans, was shot and killed in a brazen drive-by shooting in the Marigny neighborhood on a Sunday afternoon, July 28, 2024. A lifelong resident of the Seventh Ward, his family described him as a 'well loved' individual. On the day of his death, Lewis had just purchased a scratch-off ticket and was leaving a local store when the fatal attack occurred.
