On August 10, 2024, 26-year-old Andre Karnell Preston was fatally shot in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 3:55 a.m. near the intersection of St. Louis Street and Bourbon Street. Preston was found by the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) with a gunshot wound and was subsequently taken to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
