Death by Force

Richard Lee Milton Jr., a native and resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the age of 47. He died at University Medical Center after sustaining a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the 3700 block of Washington Avenue in the Central City neighborhood. Police responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 2:48 p.m. and found Milton unresponsive in a courtyard. He was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
