On a tragic Sunday night in New Iberia, Louisiana, the life of 31-year-old Dewanna Broussard was cut short in a senseless act of violence. On August 25, 2024, Broussard, a mother of three, was fatally shot on Sofas Street. The incident, which also claimed the life of 36-year-old Kasey Egbi, left the community in shock and Broussard's family grappling with an immense loss.
