In the late spring of 2024, a domestic tragedy unfolded in New Iberia, Louisiana, ending the life of 49-year-old Marie Amy Guillory. On May 29th, deputies from the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence in the 6000 block of Coteau Road following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Guillory deceased at the scene, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
