In the late hours of an October night in Minden, Louisiana, the life of 36-year-old DeQuincy Jones, a male resident, was tragically cut short. On October 9, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police responded to a call about a man lying in the parking lot of the Hillside Apartments on Industrial Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered Jones with a single gunshot wound to the head. Initially, the scene had the appearance of a suicide, with a firearm found near his feet.
