Murdered

On October 15, 2024, 19-year-old Makhai "Fruit Juice" Martin of Lutcher, Louisiana, was fatally shot in the 2100 block of Louisiana Highway 44. Responding to reports of gunfire around 8:40 p.m., deputies from the St. James Parish Sheriff's Office found Martin suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
