On January 6, 2023, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Covington Police responded to reports of a double shooting at the intersection of East 20th and Greenup streets. Upon arrival, officers found two male victims with gunshot wounds. One victim, identified as 23-year-old Selvin Orlando Alvarado of Covington, was critically injured and transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
