In the late afternoon of Sunday, February 19, 2023, Terrence Minor, a 27-year-old man, arrived at the Cross Creek Apartments in Madisonville, Kentucky. He was there to see the mother of his child, from whom he had recently separated. According to his father, he was bringing baby supplies. Shortly after entering the apartment to speak with her, he was shot once in the chest and died at the scene.
