In the late afternoon of August 2, 2023, tragedy struck in the otherwise quiet Clifton Heights neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. Responding to a call of a shooting at approximately 3:30 p.m., Louisville Metro Police officers arrived at the 300 block of Idlewylde Drive to a grim scene. There, they discovered a man who had sustained a gunshot wound. Despite any efforts to save him, the man, identified as 31-year-old Sean Gray, a male, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
