On September 23, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in the Park DuValle neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Alston Walters. Metro Police officers responded to a call in the 3600 block of Stratton Avenue around 9 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Alston Walters, a teen male, who had been shot. Despite immediate attention, Walters' injuries were fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
