On a Thursday afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 19-year-old D'Andre Jenkins, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On March 21, 2024, officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1800 block of Cypress Street, located in the Park Duvalle neighborhood. Upon their arrival just before 4:30 p.m., they discovered Jenkins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
