a.m., Louisville Metro Police officers arrived at the apartment complex to find a grim scene. Inside one of the apartments, they discovered the bodies of Miguel Ricardo and his 17-year-old grandson, Giovanni Rodriguez. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services. The initial investigation quickly pointed to a suspect who was unnervingly close to the victims.
At the scene, police encountered Yunior Rodriguez Ricardo, Miguel's 40-year-old son and Giovanni's father. According to reports, Yunior was near the doorway of the apartment where the bodies were found. He was taken into custody and later admitted to shooting his father and his son.
